Dillard’s career has been nothing if not eclectic. He’s penned songs, suites and cantatas with and for Jake Heggie, Peter Allen, Chanticleer, Disney, Anne Rice, Cantaria and numerous classical composers. He’s also written comedy material for Dolly Parton, Joan Rivers, Peggy Lee, Vincent Price and Lily Tomlin.

In the company of soprano Jennifer Bryan Pederson (Mars Hill College), and baritone Matthew Queen (Brevard College and Music School), Dillard will host and narrate a program of art songs he’s written with composers Clint Borzoni, Jake Heggie, and David Francis. The concert will also feature the premiere of a new Borzoni cantata, “God, As I See Her” and selections from Dillard’s successful doggie musical “BARK!” Chelsea Henly will accompany on piano.
