Should we expect to be compensated with a living wage in this town? Should we move elsewhere to make money and just vacation here?  Is Asheville quickly converting into a feudal state? It seems easier to find a $250 per night hotel room in this town than a living wage or affordable housing. Is that the price we pay to live in this wonderful city?    Should we expect to give $5 hand jobs at half price? (Metaphorically speaking)   Watch out for falling metaphors, friends. April showers bring May flowers and even more tourists to spend time and disposable income.    How many gigs does it take to survive in Asheville?   -dunno
