New lunch offerings at Soprana Rooftop Cucina 

Just in time for patio season, Soprana is unveiling its lunchtime hours and menu. Starting Saturday, May 4, Soprana is open from 12-10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays (and from 5-10 p.m. Sunday – Thursday). The warmer weather and lunchtime schedule will allow guests to soak up some sun and mountain views – with aperol spritz in hand – all weekend long.

The new lunch menu features a selection of soups and salads, red- and white-sauce pizzas and Italian-inspired desserts alongside Soprana’s existing beverage list of local beer, wine and cocktails with locally distilled spirits. Salads and soups include fire-roasted red pepper and tomato bisque with basil; kale Caesar salad with Tuscan kale, Caesar dressing, Parmigiano-Reggiano and herbed focaccia croutons; arugula citrus salad with grapefruit, orange, radish, red onion, cucumber, radicchio and honey basil vinaigrette; and more. Highlights from the pizza menu – which can also be found on the dinner menu – include The Asheville Pizza with Chop Shop Butchery pepperoni, mozzarella, Asheville Bee Charmer Smokin’ Hot Honey and tomato sauce; fig and prosciutto pizza with prosciutto di parma, fig-balsamic jam, red onions, chevre, arugula and extra virgin olive oil; and more. Like its dinner menu, Soprana incorporates the ingredients of Western North Carolina with pepperoni from Chop Shop Butchery, honey from Asheville Bee Charmer, spices and dry rubs from Spicewalla Amore, herbs from its very own herb garden and much more.
