When Asheville yoga teacher, physical therapist, father, and husband Ryan Conrad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last year, the community came together to raise money for his out-of-network medical care and his family's needs in a beautiful display of love and support. Fundraising efforts have continued as the family looks toward the future. Now, a silent auction is being held and will run through June 26.  "For the Love of Ryan and Brooke" celebrates the Conrad family and goes a step further in ensuring their continued security. 100% of proceeds from the auction will go directly to the family.  Auction items include original art, crafts, photographs, books, gift cards, and more from local and regional residents and businesses, including painter Daniel Nevins, textile artist Nava Lubelski, photographer Rene Treece Roberts, Dobra Tea, One Center Yoga, Harvest Records, the Bull & Beggar, and many others. The full list of items is pictured on the site and includes a detailed description, estimated value, and information on how to place a bid.
