For nearly 20 years, community network group the Asheville Affiliates have been celebrating and raising funds for local non-profits through hosting signature "Parties with a Purpose". The beneficiary of their latest bash will be our favorite community radio station 103.3 Asheville FM celebrating its 9th year in the ears of Asheville. Happy Birthday, Asheville FM! The party goes down on Thursday, September 13th from 6-9pm at Ambrose West where your $25 ticket gets you food, drinks, and fabulous live music. April B. & The Cool (check them out below) are the headliners along with Asheville's own DJ's Kudzu and Devyn Marzoula from The Double Crown .       Asheville FM is a volunteer-based, grassroots community radio station. We want to hear music, news, and the unusual all produced right here in our neck of the woods. We want to hear sounds from around the world, discerned and distilled just for us by our neighbors.
