MotoVicious, the motorcycle repair shop that features a little bar inside, is
hosting an Octoberfest party. Starts at 6 p.m. A highlight: Foothills Brewing will be releasing its Oktoberfest Marzen.

LEAF at Lake Eden in Black Mountain. The fall edition of this signature music event runs all weekend, but a Sunday pass will get you in to see a full day of music, including headliners the Squirrel Nut Zippers.
