If you're half as excited as we are about the 2016 All Go West music festival, you're already penciling very show, venue, event, and pre-party happening onto your schedule. Celebrating all things West Asheville, this year's festivities bring together a dizzying variety of musical acts on multiple stages on and around Haywood St.  The event proper is happening on Saturday, June 25, but All Go West just announced a special evening hosted by Zia Taqueria on Sunday, April 17th--All Go Southwest. It's a night of food and music, and the entertainment, in the spirit of All Go West, is free. Things get started at 6 pm, and the musical acts will be a microcosm of the festival. The night will highlight the sounds of Sol Rhythms (Latin/Funk), Ashley Heath and Patrick Dodd (Appalachian/Memphis Blues), and DJ Heira (Rare Groove Funk).
