This month’s BEAT LIFE is a chance to see exceptional nights of music at the One Stop and Asheville Music Hall in downtown Asheville.

The Beat Tape Collective is constantly pushing Asheville’s electronic music horizons further, bringing in new and innovative acts from afar and highlighting up-and-coming local talents.

Moon Duo’s music, flavored by the surreal and the psychedelic, dreamy and still rough around the edges, will fill Asheville’s Mothlight on Thursday, March 12th.

The Asheville Beat Tape Collective brought 10th Letter to the Mothlight earlier this month and I sat down with him before his performance to talk about his new LP, his influences, and his ideas about life, the universe, and everything.
